BBCode

The BBCode extension adds an option to the right-click context menu, which allows you to insert bulletin board code directly into text input fields. To do this you just right-click in a textarea or text input field, and select the BBCode option, then choose the tag you want to insert.

This extension offers the usual BBCode tags, such as bold, underline, code and quotes, however one feature which is sadly missing is the option to enter the name of the person you are quoting, which could be implemented in the same way as the color selection option. A nice feature is allowing you to paste the contents of your clipboard as a quote - useful for presenting long quotes from various sources.

Overall I feel that this is a good extension, however I have to wonder if its worthwhile? What I mean is that on almost all forums you can simply use point-and-click BBCode extension. This extension does its job admirably, and gets 4 stars because of this.
